Strategic Rebranding Transformation:

Oliver Tollison skillfully executed a comprehensive rebranding for Marble Distilling, elevating it from its local roots to a bold, professional brand with a national presence. This transformation involved an extensive overhaul across all marketing platforms, including the website, social media, and print materials, to reflect the distillery’s core values of sustainability and its proud heritage as a woman-owned business.

Achieved a remarkable 500% increase in website traffic and user engagement within nine months through organic SEO strategies. 

Strategically transformed and accelerated the brand’s organic social media performance, achieving an unprecedented increase in reach by over 2,000% and amplifying average daily clicks by 1,400%. This pivotal enhancement in digital engagement significantly elevated brand recognition and fostered dynamic audience interaction.

JESSE ALEXANDER

Oliver Tollison masterfully propelled the brand of esteemed Motorsports Photography luminary, Jesse Alexander, into the digital era, merging antiquated analog methods with innovative technology.

My visionary approach commenced with pioneering two interactive Photography books for Apple’s bookstore – “Forty Years of Motorsports Photography” and “Speed of Light” , followed by the groundbreaking creation of the “Monaco: The Golden Age of The Grand Prix” Fine Art book, hailed as a trailblazer in its genre. One of my proudest accomplishments, having my hand on every aspect of the project, including conceptualizing the idea, to curating and editing, scanning and retouching the images, page layout, book cover and jacket cover design, to pre-sell fundraising, advertising, to packaging and shipping.  We printed 1,000 books and sold out in a few months. The book is highly coveted as it’s now considered rare and collectible.

Through meticulous planning and execution, I orchestrated a comprehensive revamp of all marketing channels, from traditional print to dynamic digital and engaging social media platforms, resulting in an astonishing 12,000% surge in Social Media followers.

To augment the marketing endeavors for the Monaco book, I orchestrated a captivating exhibition featuring a curated selection of photographs, showcased as a solo spectacle at the prestigious Fahey Klein Gallery in Los Angeles. In addition, I orchestrated a highly successful Kickstarter campaign, broadening Jesse’s appeal across generational divides and securing widespread acclaim for our collaborative efforts. 

In light of Jesse Alexander’s recent passing, these projects will certainly serve in keeping his legacy alive and continue to inspire.

Showcasing the Esteemed Career of Tom Mesereau:

When Tom Mesereau, a renowned figure in celebrity criminal defense, embarked on a new chapter apart from his previous firm, he sought a fresh brand identity and a digital platform to reflect his remarkable legal achievements. Our objective was to leverage the extensive media coverage surrounding Mr. Mesereau to underscore his exceptional courtroom successes directly on his website.

Our strategy began with the development of a striking homepage, anchored by an iconic image from Mr. Mesereau’s famous defense of Michael Jackson, complemented by the powerful declaration: “TOM MESEREAU HAS WON IMPOSSIBLE TRIALS”. This sets the tone for the entire website, establishing Mr. Mesereau’s legacy from the outset.

To further illustrate his expertise and influence, we introduced an extensive video library showcasing Mr. Mesereau’s interviews with prominent media figures, including Larry King, Barbara Walters, and several CNN appearances. This section not only highlights his thought leadership in the field but also provides visitors with a dynamic way to engage with his legal insights and accomplishments.

Additionally, we created an expansive news blog within the website to curate a comprehensive collection of articles and features about Tom Mesereau. This approach not only enriches the site’s content but significantly enhances its organic search engine optimization (SEO), making Mr. Mesereau’s achievements more accessible to a broader audience.

Throughout the site, we employed large, bold header images and assertive taglines to mirror Mr. Mesereau’s distinguished position among the world’s elite attorneys. Each element of the website was carefully crafted to not just tell, but vividly showcase the story of a legal luminary whose career has been defined by groundbreaking victories and unparalleled dedication to justice.

MELVIN SOKOLSKY

Transforming the Iconic Work of Legendary Fashion Photographer – Melvin Sokolsky: A Pioneering Approach to Fine Art Books

Melvin Sokolsky is universally acknowledged as one of the most illustrious photographers in history, an American visionary who revolutionized fashion photography with his pioneering spirit from the early 1960s. His forward-thinking approach has not only redefined the genre but continues to exert a profound influence on modern photography and the visual arts.

Known for his experimental zeal and innovative techniques, Sokolsky has indelibly impacted fashion photography, inspiring countless photographers with his imaginative themes and technical prowess. His fusion of fantasy with fashion opened new avenues for creative expression within the field.

Among his most celebrated works is the “Bubble Series” for Harper’s Bazaar (1963), a collection that stands as a testament to Sokolsky’s ingenious creativity. At the young age of 21, becoming the youngest photographer to shoot for the magazine, he introduced models encapsulated in transparent bubbles, floating against the enchanting Parisian landscapes. This series not only highlighted his imaginative vision but also his technical mastery in crafting dreamy, avant-garde scenes that were unprecedented.

The opportunity to transpose Sokolsky’s iconic “Bubble Series” into a digital format came from Melvin’s team, a challenge I accepted with honor. Having already made a name for myself through my digital books for Jesse Alexander, Melvin sought to bring a similar level of innovation to his work. Our collaboration led to the creation of two immersive, interactive eBooks: “Paris 1963 – The Bubble Series” and “Paris 1965 – The Fly Collection.” These works not only encapsulate Sokolsky’s pioneering shoots in Paris, with models defying gravity, but they also introduce a new dimension of engagement through glowing captions that, upon interaction, reveal Melvin’s personal narrations—enhancing the viewing experience with a richness only digital media can offer.

Working alongside Melvin’s designer, Aaron Drucker, we crafted these eBooks to be a dynamic homage to Sokolsky’s legacy, now preserved for posterity on Apple Books. In light of Melvin Sokolsky’s recent passing, these eBooks stand as a historical tribute to a man whose vision transcended the boundaries of photography, offering readers a unique window into the genius of one of the greatest photographers of our time.

The Kombucha product shots highlight the healthy and natural ingredients for the particular flavor and were created as art pieces to be displayed inside Rowdy Mermaid’s corporate headquarters in Boulder, CO.

DURANGO & Silverton Narrow Gauage Railroad

Immersive 360 VR Tour | Art Direction | Photography | Video Production

The Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad was established in 1882 to transport precious metals from the San Juan Mountains. Today, it operates as a historic scenic route, showcasing Colorado’s breathtaking landscape through its narrow-gauge tracks. The steam locomotives, which date back over a century, are a testament to the remarkable engineering feats of that era.

The Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad Museum is home to a vast collection of antique trains and historical artifacts, providing insight into the railroad’s crucial role in regional development and the evolution of railway technology. The museum celebrates the pioneering spirit of the American West and embodies the rich history of railroading.

During the pandemic, we created an interactive 360 Virtual Reality tour, allowing visitors to explore the museum and railroad from anywhere in the world from their computer. Hotspots throughout the tour activate- photos of historical artifacts, audio of steam locomotives, informative videos, and links to articles. The tour provides an immersive, entertaining and educational experience for all ages.
